It was the wrong war
The war of lies
The war on Iraq
Death from the skies
It was the chosen war
Any excuse
Build a case for war
Find a ruse
Plotting death by hate
Without just cause
Only lie after lie
And so many flaws
And after the deed
Make the PR case
Say it’s glorious
Without shame face
Tell yet more lies
And spread more fear
Knowing their incompetence
Would cost us dear
Ambitious men
With damn little sense
Petty warmongers
Without defence
Caught in their deceit
We now despise
This wrong war
This war of lies
