New light of a new day

Contributed by PhantomVampyress on Sunday, 12th February 2006 @ 03:34:21 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Dreams we all have
drifting in and out of sleep
sifting through our minds
our won fears we hide

hoping on the new morn'
the light shines in
through the window open up the door
let it go set it free
before it eats all of you

Phases of life pass on by
Don't give in
don't let up
cry no more for what is lost
but smile for what is given to us today

**JENNI**

Life is a trip that is sometimes rocky and sometimes smooth, but I think we should take each day and make the best of it. Each day starts with a clean fresh slate and we can write on it what we wish. Each day is a blessing if we just take the time to look for the best in it. Lovely write.

Smiles,
Rita

This is a wonderful poem full of sunshine and hope.
Each new day is a gift and you show that keenly.

Ps
Don't you hate it when your mind is blank --
and
your pin is full of ink ?

I know the feeling.

What a beautiful poem this is, and told with such directness of thought. Your style is in the telling of it itself. I just descovered your other pages so i'll be reading more.

thanks for your comment also
on both poems.
