Lazy Sundays
Waking without an alarm clock
Farm style breakfast of bacon and fresh eggs
Hot coffee, the Sunday paper, don’t dress until noon
Listening to Norah Jones or Jack Johnson
The sunshine shines in through the window
It entices you to dress and go sit on the porch swing
Grab a book and curl up for a read on the porch
A peaceful day of relaxing and enjoyment
Perhaps meet friends for a light lunch and tea, share a laugh
Home to catch a favorite TV show and watch the sunset
A long bubble bath and a good nights sleep
Stolen moments from a busy week behind and ahead
But a refreshing of the soul, moments to be able
To say “Life is Good “.J
