Hopeless and forgotten

Contributed by poetic_influence on Sunday, 12th February 2006 @ 11:42:53 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Much like suicide
I torture myself with this pain
Nothing to hide
And nothing to gain
A shadow of myself
With my true image blurred
So many things to tell
Of all these things in my life that have occured
Afraid to say what I have to speak on
So I dont speak at all
All of these subjects I fall so weak on
When will I not be weak at all?
I am so lost
I am so alone
My windows of life are covered with frost
It's like ..to my pain...I am prone
And I pray that it will stop
I pray that it wont defeat me
But its like I'm trying to be something I'm not
....And there is nothing to complete me
So why try at all
Why get back up
If you are just made to ..fall
The evidence just stacks up
That my life is pointless
Dull to the tip
And there are no turns because my path is jointless
And I can't get my grip
So tell me Lord,..why live
If inside you are only dying
You have nothing to give
And no matter what you do...you'll never end up flying
I guess thats how it is
Once hopeless forever forgotten
First a bad childhood now this
And by now...It should no longer be as shocking
So I sit and cry inside this dark room
No one to whip my tears
This is my doom
And I am surrounded by all of my worst fears

this is very sad poetic. Im sorry that your having so many troubles. Is this why your always lashing out?? If you need love and help and friends there are many a sweet lady on this site that would offer those things to you. Your going about things in the wrong way however.

Michelle

All bickering aside, Influence....this was a good write. Whether we believe or not believe the same thing does not matter....not to me. You are still a child of this earth...and we are all here.....listening. Listening as friends, fellow poets, brothers and sisters. I wish you peace, Laura

Darn, I forgot to mention...I really liked this line....

"My windows of life are covered with frost"

I lost both my parents to cancer by the time I was your age...I've had a little frost too. Peace, Laura

We will all extend a hand in friendship. Many have had hard lives and lived through it. So many have become strong people because of the trials lived through. Don't ever give up and don't think your sun will never shine. Keep your faith and good things will come to you. Just don't turn us all away. There are many wonderful people here who would be more than willing to be be your real friend and bring you into our fold. We all have different beliefs, but we accept each other as friends. We are always here if needed, just reach out a hand; someone will respond.

Blessings,
Rita

Very Strong. I know that feeling. I feel like it a lot and sometimes I don't understand why.
