I'll Miss You...

It was obviously and painfully distilled in a way that only I could understand
Me, you...It was always just 'do what you can'...
And I never liked that or wanted that kind of memory,
I could only respect what you wished for.

I'm the kind of girl who is loyally in love.
I'm incapable of doting over two together and I had to let you go.
It was the smart thing, the right thing to do.
Not only for me, but also for you.

You know me better than anyone else ever could come close.
Should they, I'd probably pull away.
As I enter a new reality that doesn't hide from the sun
I am happy that I don't regret what we've done.

It was good to know you,
good to have you close and under my skin.
It was good to kiss you,
good to feel you within.

I'll miss you, M&M...
