Dearest Someone,
Who reads these words
Do so in regard
To a selfless, lonely, naive girl
Who needs a broken heart
She writes and says she loves him
She lies against her will
She's only known this much with him
Her heart has had its fill
Dearest Someone,
Take her heart
Give her something to live for
Hold nothing back and show her love
That she's ne'er been shown before
With every letter that she pens
There falls another tear
But knows she not the reasons why
She sobs in silent fear
Dearest Someone,
She's afraid
Of never knowing more
Than this mockery of love she gives
Receiving nothing in return
His words are always empty
If ever he speaks at all
Her submission proven pointless
Her love is her downfall
Dearest Someone,
Take my heart
Give me something to live for
Hold nothing back, please show me love
That I've ne'er been shown before.

Oh this is sad. Good rhythm, flows well. The pain of a broken heart is clear to see in this poem. The 4th stanza is my fave, great imagery. Well done.
