Sleep lightly my chosen one
Your porcelain skin soon scarlet threads
After the setting sun
You will join the undead
Stir not from sleep
While I sing you passions song
Utter not a peep
Our desire will be eternity long
Wake now little chosen one
You are now my slave
My work here is almost done
None from damnation can save
Come join me my queen of night
In a feast in your honor
You will now come to fear the light
And look for your next blood donor
Don’t weep my sweet lady fair
You will come to enjoy your plight
And to know nothing compares
To a good hunt late into the night

Even if written as a dark poem, I found the light, good write too. So the only passion I was thinking of was His Com-passion. Thank you for your lovely poem, I enjoyed it. Raquel Leah

Another astounding write! I have read many vampire poems. A guy I grew up with wrote most of his poetry on the suject. This work sets itself apart of many other vampire poems. Mostly because it can be taken literally or figuratively, whether it was your intention or not. You may be talking about an actual vampire, or you may be using the vampire imagery to decribe the quality of someone else.
This makes this a very fun, wrap of words. I simply loved every line.
Awesome!
