Complete annihilation
my wisdom has finally scurried away.
Find me following the vacant path,
into the arid territories of lone souls.
You wish to salvage me, dear I know.
salvage me from my own demons.
Find me under the clouds,
as I decay into my eccentric mind.
Realisation, it’s going to tear me down
I’ve come quick to feel the putrid effect.
Sliding into places worth recognising,
decision making and the confusion-
adds to the bittersweet enjoyment of it.
Smelling the rank air brings tears to me.
A quick judgemental thought deceived-
by my own words flowing from me.
Thank you for the enlightenment
take my gratification a gift from me.
Turn it into what you will, self-worth?
Sit up straight, chest out, feel privileged.
We’re gaining some self control today,
bite my own tongue then turn away from you-
then leave you with my unspoken words,
scream what you will I won’t hear you.
