she's looking at the sky
he's looking at the ground
she's always asking why
always bringing him down
conscience goes out the window
self respect through the floor
he's aking when can he go
she tells him there's the door
he's walking out of her life
she begs him please don't go
gives her one last i love you
and then the door slams closed
the sun is setting
and the moon opens it's eyes
to witness this cold night
of sadness and goodbyes
