Destined Teardrop

Contributed by Lia on Tuesday, 28th January 2003 @ 12:45:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I heard your teardrops falling
Into the chasm of my soul
It echoed through the valleys
And stomped through fields of lore
It knelt in ponds of worry
And leapt through skies of pain
It pushed the brink of no return
And pierced into my veins
It stumbled into fears unknown
And plummeted past torment
It scaled the walls of mountains
And punched through lakes of ice
It trotted through the glory
And festered with the good
And finally it found a place
For it to rest itself
Within a gorgeous ocean
Of emotions torn apart
To which it found it's solace
With the capture of my heart...

The journey of a teardrop... What a fascinating vision. I love the destinations and emotions involved. As usual Lia there is deep meaning to your work...
