I thought I found someone special in you
You were always kind and true
I never thought there would be a day without you
You were too good to be true I guess
You turned out to be like the rest
You were the best thing for me but I was wrong
In my mind I was hoping it didn’t take this long
I wish I could wake from this dream
But I am awake and yes my heart does ache
This is no lie I will always wonder what went wrong
