Swirls of Black in the rifts of time,
Acquiesce to the coming signs.
Tear apart the frivolous sheet,
Away from the dream of humanity.
The fragile workings, the inner clock,
Time: Is it real? Or a concept to mock?
Are we all giving in to the question of why?
Why not do your best not to live in a lie?

A thought provoking piece.
I have time and time again explored these and similar notions...it is always perplexing, ever so intricate. Some well expressed metaphors, with sound rhythm and meter.
