Gentle caramel features glowing ivory amongst the night
A brooks timeless ripple capturing reflections of early light
Shadows slip unknowingly within crevices of the stream
As silently she listens to faded breaths of the unseen.
Faintly she smiles toward the mirror of her world
Drawn towards its darkness and mysteries left unfurled
Touch the only censor as she finalized her search
Numbly finding closure to which where she found her worth
Encased among the shadows and a creatures conscious sight
Blind to nature’s beauty she became the child of silent night.
