Ocean meditation

Contributed by PatchAdams on Monday, 27th January 2003 @ 09:30:00 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Here I sit once more on the cliff`s edge,
Gazing out to the Vast Ocean below,
White thunderous waves crash against the
crags and crevices, filling the cool
salty air with Ozone and sparkling foam.
Concentrated light creating beautiful rainbows everywhere, enchantment surrounds me in this marine paradise, I sit alone and listen with eyes closed and heart open, feeling the natural meditation overwhelm my senses. My world begins to glow.
Seagulls soar towards the golden sun high above, catching warm currents and spiral in the vast blue heavens, then divebomb into the cool depths below to grasp unlucky fish, and the whole ocean sparkles like thousands of tiny crystals as their splashes reach towards the sky.
Something beautiful and ancient stirs within my soul, I feel that I have always belonged to this watery realm, and to it one day, I shall return..
A cool breeze blows across my face, and I rouse from my meditation. It is time to leave once more, but a welcome awaits me tomorrow, where once again I shall merge with the blue.....
