FADING

Contributed by brokenwings on Monday, 6th February 2006 @ 12:11:49 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I was just starting to think that the pain was fading,
and with flash I woke up at 3 am tears running down my face,
my new love by my side, he knew my heart was bleading
and i told him about the heart no one could ever replace.

In his arms I relived every last emotion i felt when you flew away.
I told him i was fading and that he should just move on,
he took me even closer and told me i was with whom he would always stay,
how can he love someone, whose heart is all gone?

he looked at me with love in his eyes,
kissed my forehead, and said your not fading,
its only your fear,
what kind of man would i be if i left you here...

we laid in eachother eyes, the same way it was with you,
and for once this day did not make me blue,
i knew my pain was fading ,
but my love shall never.

with love in my heart i will come to see you today,
and cry like i always do, and tell you how i'll always cherish you,
I will cherish the love, that healed my soul, and will never fade away,
because you are always right here with me, as long as i love you

so i will say these words to you my love,
and i will know that you understand,
because what kind of man would hate me for loving again
when it was with him when my life really began,

i know now that it is not the love that fades,
when you fall in love after death,
its just the fear, and the greif
for what kind of love would i be, if i stopped love everytime it was close
and cling to a lover who is now just a ghost.

my love shall never fade,
my heart will no longer break at the mention of your name,
because my heart and your home are now one in the same...

What a moving and impressive masterpiece you have created here,
I was pulled right into the emotion you must have felt while writing it

Beautiful poem.

I fall into love with my first husband over and over again, he is in heaven.

Yes, now and then, I weep, and Michael my present husband cries with me.

I told Michael, who ever goes, let the one staying on earth find new love.. he smiled and said.. there is always new love, here on earth or in heaven.. new love that never dies..
