Poetry
and the physical symptoms
of mental anguish
are spirals that encompass my body
as I drift from one place to the next
Poetry
is the frost forming
ahead of my mouth
as I breathe outwards
in the five a.m. winter air
Poetry
can be sweet water
on days of drought
when your skin has been burning
under intensive radiation
Poetry
like all things powerful
can hold captive
hearts and minds
with the mere whisper
of
words

Yes, Poetry can truly be a great release for a troubled
spirit or a joyous soul. It is a celebration of life itself.
I Loved this.
