Grief

You wake me up and I am happy you called. It's late and my dream was about you. I talk as if I wasn't sleeping because I like you. You get destracted too easily by your brother and your lust for substances. If it were up to me we'd never be apart. Half asleep I wish I could say we'll never be apart again. If I did I'd be lying because those things aren't true. We hang up because you lie about wanting to sleep. An excuse to let me go back to sleep. Now I am up and I can not stop thinking about you. Although we can never be together my feelings for you will not change. They will be kept inside for what will seem to be an eternity, I am forced to find someone else instead.
