MINUTE

Grief
|
When I pray to God I ask him for,
one minute back in time.
To place me in my mothers arms,
one more cuddle just one last time.
One minute may not seem long to you,
but it would mean the world to me.
To feel safe wrapped up in her arms,
but I know this never could be.
Please never take your mother for granted,
Love and cherish her with all of your heart.
Because one day you will pray for that minute,
and count every second that your apart.

I can feel this one very strong. My mother passed away 18 months ago. Just one more minute please......But it is part of life that we must one day die. My heartfelt sympathies for your loss.
