It's been 17 months, 9 days and 4 hours since I last saw you.
But it's like I was JUST with you.
I can hear your voice so clearly.
Your smell is always with me.
It was only yesterday that we played War on your kitchen table.
I don't know how it was over a year ago.
Everything from your house 'til now is just a blur.
The anxiety, the suspense, the ambulance, the hospital...
white, red, white, silver...cold hard silver
...the nursing home, the hospital AGAIN, that popsicle, the CALL
The greif, the depression, the numbness....which leads up to today.
It's been 17 months, 9 days and 4 hours since I last saw you,
Forever til I see you again.
