Cry but once
Now cry no more
For all I loved is nevermore
Life is a tragedy
Played on the hearts of men
While the faceless sees the sparrow
But naught of him
Strum the strings of love
Which wrent my heart in two
The puppet master above
The scarecrow strung below
But yet it is of love
That sorrows shadows wait
For as I flail about
The strings of love
Do chaff

i simply adore the dark romantic style this piece has been fashioned.
some rather obscure concepts, which seem almost symbolical.
i feel this piece was very well expressed, embellished with your own unique flair.
A crestfallen, emotional piece. |

Such is joy and happiness when love is straight and true. However there is a great price to pay when love falters. There is a balance in all things worthwhile. Great poem and expression of sadness. Your capacity to love is great! Thanks |
