A world of things to hinder on
The cause of hurt will meet you too
Earn your wings, weakened and lame
Broken act of whole but queer play
But for everyone will come
An end to damage and quickened maim
To see what lies without and after
Perish from a disease or act and laughter
Old or young, fulfilled or pondered
No calorie or mouth to feed
How mind can enforce and finish for
Complete or hang in moment, torn
To tell of things you would not conceive
And govern what the mind can see
Flap wings you think you know can free
And realize what you thought was wrong
Or find what’s right is right indeed
While wings and feathers strapped to breathe
A cool dance of crisp blue skies
And rose buds but never dies
A ring of fire where act can’t achieve
And fall in love to watch it leave
Disarm your thought
Cause no one knows
Sprout your wings another day
Let feathers lie where they now are
Weakened or crowned?
Questioned thus far.
