I Give Up

Whats with men these days
they tell you they love you
and then they leave
I give up on the whole
relationship thing
Who would want a
25 year old who
didn't have a father growing up
and an uncle she worshipped
'till he called her a fing (female dog) at 14
It seems no one wants to hear
other peoples problems
when did we get out of the confort
state and into the uncomfortable state
I've done it all and had the worse dates
Ive stuck by it and them
through thick and thin
Now they tell me I'm not the
relationship type
What gives
I've been sexually assulted
verbally assulted
horrassed bullied
degradded
and slammed
and men have the gall
to tell me I'm not the
relationship type
ha
Do they even know what
I've been through
or what ive seen
what I had to endure
to get were I am
Why did only one out of 14
get me, and understood me
even more then I did
Gish, I give up
but my spirit is strong
and I'll go on
making the same mistakes
as usual and kicking myself later
so heres to all the knights that
didn't save me
All the one that were monsters in disgises
I guess I'll be an old maid like in the 1800
They considered 25 an old maid
I guess I am and I never even had kids
All I want to do is settle down
stay with one guy
but they won't give me a chance

I can feel the anger and resentment here, it it's any consolation I apologise on behalf of all the men that have mistreated you in the past.
Every wheel does turn though, some more slowly than others.I wish you luck in finding the one that will treat you the way you truly desire
