Therapeutic Words

Contributed by Fiona on Monday, 27th January 2003 @ 02:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: ThankYouPoems

In my hand my pen still sits,
Seeking words beyond my lips
Another passion, another kiss
So many things I want to list

The hurt inside me screaming out:
Oh what today shall I write about?
No modesty here, I’m an open book
My only fear is to be overlooked

Here I am with my heart on the page
Escaping from this crowed cage
Make your opinions
Hear my plea
Feel the words that you can’t see

My mission is clear
I’m here to express
Help me unleash the things I suppress
Make your judgements
feel my pain
I need you now to keep me sane

Words are my therapy
You are my guide
Don’t let my heart begin to subside
Hear what I’m saying
Relate to my thoughts
You are the reason my battles are fought

What a great way to express your appreciation...I have been writing for years and never really showed them to anyone for fear of being judged or what not...this place gave me a place to show off my work and gain a few friends along the way...Keep writing.. :)
