OUR DEAR NORM HAS PASSED AWAY

Our dear poet Norm has passed away
I was gone over the weekend, so just found
out today,
His sweet little wife Shirl told me he
went to sleep......
On Saturday about 5 a.m. a date
I'll always remember and keep.

He was my friend.....my tears will never end........

Created just for Norm
with much love
and many hugs
for Shirl

For once I'm going to be a man of few words.

Norm from the poems I read of his had a genius for humour.

I'm sure he's smiling down on us all now.

God bless...and condolences to his family.

J

He brought so many smiles to my face when I was down, I don't think he would want me to cry right now. He'd want me to think of all his lil' limericks, his witticism, but most of all he would want us to remember his loving wife and to keep her in our prayers during this time.
My prayers are with you Shirl! I know Norm is up there rhyming in the heavens making all the adjoining angels smile right along with him! He blessed this earth and he blessed this site with his presence! Through his words...he'll live on forever!
Angel always...godspeed...joni
p.s my prayers are with you "mom". I know he was a dear friend of yours. (((ConSue)))joni

Thanks for letting us know COnni.

Norm touched my heart with his humor, his poetic talent and his kind loving heart. He was a great friend and brought comfort in time of need. Iv missed him greatly since he has been away and will always miss him. He holds a fond place in my heart. I shared his poetry often reading it over the phone to my dad who also enjoys the verse and writing. My dad is losing his eyesight and can nolonger read so I often read for him. He always got a chuckle out of Norms wit filled verse.

My heart goes out to you Shirl, and family in this time of mourning and know that we are all thinking of you now. Norm was part of our poetic family and we are here for you when you need us.

Love always

Michelle

awww sooo sad...... thank you for telling us connie.......

dearest shirl, much love to you in this sad and hard time, norm will be greatly missed, i cant imagine your pain after being together with your mate for so many loving years, i lost my hubby young and never remarried, one thing that always stayed in my mind was that a lost loved one is like a rose growing by a garden wall, and one day they grow over to the other side, the beauty is still there in your heart, you just cant see them right now, but they will ever be near you,

im so sorry shirl, hang in there, much love and big hugs,
your friend, nessa

Forgive me for not commenting sooner. I am here so seldom and just now read your message. I will miss Norm. He could speak his wisdom with such humor that one didnt realize they were learning from him. A true poet, and a one of a kind man.
