sweat comingling with blood
stinging my eyes
the hill reeks of decay
death summons the flies
the gradient is steep
an uphill battle for sure
my swordarm grows heavy
i can lift it no more
the enemy crashes down
like a huge tidal wave
my sword breaks in two
leaving the life of a slave
the sun is eclipsed
dark storm clouds move in
lightning strikes all over
the wind and the din
resistance is futile
the enemy's weapons rend
capitulation beckons
nothing left to mend
then the trumpet sounds
and the word subdues all
the herald commanding the field
she's at least ten feet tall
the power of the cross
we survivors rally around
leah hoists high the standard
and i give thanks i was found

I appreciate this so much, sent me to tears. And yes, He will definately bring this world into control, tone down our wars. This wonderful poem was created by His power given to you. There will always be troubled souls until the day when he will break the enemies sword and deliver us all from danger. Thank you so very, very much, and leah stands tall around that power, and I am greatful for you to be found, for we must all be blessed in knowing, when we most need Him, He will be there for us, finding us to keep us safe in His arms and away from the evil predator, that thrives on destruction. raquelleah |
