like an autumn leaf

Contributed by Lady_Daisy on Wednesday, 1st February 2006 @ 03:57:20 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Golden brown and beautiful
So fragile, the autumn leaf
as it crushes in my hands
a sense of relief.

Reminding me, of my fragility
and the ache of the last fall
crushing me into ashes,
Like an autumn leaf.
