The Angel's Lullabye
An angel sings a lullabye
With broken heart, a parent cries
The angel sings so soft and clear
rocking the child, held so dear
The parent moves about on earth
living is motions, there is no mirth
The angel holds the child so loved
her voice rings out, in Heaven above
The grieving parent stops to hear
So faintly, the sound of hope, not fear
The angel's lullabye is through
The comforted parent, rises, renewed.

An amazing poem. It is usually those tragic or stressful times where true inspiration appears. |
