I have not laughed this way in a long time;
I wonder if that is fine.
Not sure where he and I may be going;
I’m pleasantly happy to be near him glowing.
We spoke our words with simplicity never feeling trapped or guilty.
I’m not alone as he assures me he is my friend to the very end.
I keep it subtle as we sit near each other and though our words are softly spoken,
I try not to think will my heart be broken.
His heart beats fast while holding me close;
I wonder what he thinks as we begin to doze.
I try to hold myself not to kiss him.
I’m in no rush, but I feel red and flushed.
I feel at home when we are close and there is nothing wrong with this I know.
The only question that I ask as many times before,
could he be the one that will fulfill my heart, body, and soul?
