Suicide

If i did the unthinkable,
Would you miss me?
If i showed you my hate,
Where would you be?
This rage built up inside,
Stuff it down,
As the song goes:
"I'm stareing down the barrell of a .45"
There's no turning back,
My lost life, my lost love...
Who do i trust?
Trust is my enemy,
Not by choice,
Not the way i want to be,
I have lost any will to live,
As my life fades away,
Down that long road again,
Just please, set me free...

...Froggy...that's the story of most of us poets...I've been writing poetry since junior high and I'm fifty-four and three quarters now...I grew up thinking suicide and had a nervous breakdown sixteen months ago...but...I have found freedom...several keys to my own personal escape...
1. Attachment Theory of early chldhood development
2. The Truman Show...we are controlled by those attachment years experiences
3. John Bradshaw's book, Homecoming
4. the negative relational emotions do not signal something amiss with the other person, they signal something that is amiss within us...read them like you read red lights on the dashboard and they will do you some good
5. don't give up...
...these keys might not fit your lock...we are all very unique, very special...
...good luck,
ron...enigma |
