Passing Fancy

Thunder crashing lightening hitting the ground
Rain pouring down heroes fall too
All of life is so fleeting
A moment passes and is through
Nothing is really stable
All that is precious of the earth
Loses its worth in the end
Where are the real riches?
Those of the soul
Time has no meaning
The spirit goes on forever
That which is of the world
Is but a passing fancy
That which is of the soul
Has eternal value
All is connected
When the final storm rages
What have you put your trust in?
That which is of the world?
Or that which is of the spirit?
