Cheese to go with my White Wine

Contributed by Mangos on Monday, 30th January 2006 @ 12:43:56 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

My lonely existence
Is not for the faint of heart
I have no saints to impart
The secrets of life
Or the art involved
In a sculpture which mimics
A divine existence

My tragedy is in who I’ve become
My sanity is lost in the glare of the sun
Positively identified as none
Other then with what I was given
With only what I begun
To dismantle the illusion
And rekindle the spark which blew away
And faded with the wind
Is concealed in my sin
Is brought before the heavenly judge
He is determined to impede my descent
Or admit me in

My dilemma is two fold
If I stay younger
Then my soul will never grow old
Thus if maturity escapes my realm
If positivism is poisoned
Then a colloquialism is subsequently spoken
As shattered lives heal into the broken anomalies
As battered barricades fence in my personal anguish
My fraternal disparage
A commercial of happiness
And a lifelong marriage to the womb
Yields in an empty baby carriage
The death of a flower in bloom

Great one! I loved the last stanza! It was beautiful and loaded to the brim with emotion.
