Clouds will crack,
Brilliance in the sky,
There’ll be no turning back
And please don’t cry
When we suddenly collide.
Freedom forged
Asphalt road
Trees whisper
Signs blur.
I’ll cross the barrier,
Grinding steel
Against cement.
Motionless
For just one moment,
Half-suspended in the air,
I’ll say a prayer
When we suddenly collide.

An interesting piece.
i think the simplicity of it all hides the convoluted concepts, our minds cannot grasp. Some would say death is a life process, obviously the last, yet still a part of life?
This piece seems more figurative that physically literal.
Maybe i am disoriented, yet this piece to me seemed as though the message were about life's final process?
A thought provoking write. |
