Cancer Took Him Away

Contributed by whitfields on Sunday, 29th January 2006 @ 11:07:57 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I will never forget that January day,
When cancer took my uncle away,
He lay in pain on the floor,
Until finally someone had the urge to open the door,
If only one had only knew,
Maybe we could've saved you,
Now sitting here wondering why,
Tears fall from my eye,
We all love and miss you,
Still feeling down and blue,
Maybe we will meet again,
As you are our gaurdian angel and friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Two months ago, my best friend died after falling off a scaffold, and I still haven't been able to fathom it. But like they say, time heals all wounds, right? Chin up, my friend. Things will get better.
Wonderful write by the way..

Such a horrible disease, that not only destroys the recipient but all those who love them.
Sorry for your loss

Steve
