thee I love

Contributed by crazie_insane on Friday, 27th January 2006 @ 07:26:24 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

i love you, oh so much
i've carved it on a tree
i want to tell the whole world
how much you mean to me

i think my trusty pocketknife
has made my message plain
and best of all it wont wash off
in case we have some rain

my love will grow as years go by
and when we are old and gray
we can come and look again
at what i've carved today

Ohhh thank you for sharing this lovely poem..... It brought back such lovely memories for me. MANY, MANY years ago, an old boyfriend carved our names on a tree on a little island where we spent the day. I wonder if it's still there!!!
Oh well...
Thanks again for sharing this..
Jenni
