FLICKERS OF DOUBT

Contributed by sassydovebird on Friday, 27th January 2006 @ 11:14:25 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I should have listened to my head
Not listened to my heart
PJ you lied to me all along
Things you told me were not true
How could you do this to me
But i have learned a big lesson now
Am putting my heart back in glass
To be seen but never touched again....

Philip you lied to me so much
All you told me was not true
How could you and live with yourself
someday it will all come back to haunt you 100 times over
Ask god to forgive you on your death bed
Cause right now there is no way i can,if ever...

You said you were dying of cancer
And i believed you,I so believed you
But you never came back to me
Moved furthur away
God help this world with people like you in it
You mess with emotions and leave an empty hollow person

My heart is now dead inside
No feelings of any kind
All my brain can tell my heart is HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME
May God forgive you because i cannot....

Damn how inconsiderate. I wouldn't forgive him for quite a while either, what happened to me is I hated him, then missed him, then numbness, forgiveness can be so hard, hate can come again and then hopefully the moving on...can take several years though...my experience...take care. Good write.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
