YOUR DECISION
I once knew this woman who could not see,
the beauty taken for granted by you and me.
She relied on her sense of feel to get around,
as she struggled on her way through the uneven ground.
Not an unkind word did she ever have to share,
as she deals with her disability that left her impaired.
I once knew this man I'm ashamed to say,
that was blessed with good fortune in every way,
he was so unhappy with everything around,
he walked about his way with a sneer and a frown.
His desire for more overwhelm his mind,
a sad, bitter man is what you would find.
See you have to decide on who you want to be,
a bitter little man or one who can't see.
The choice that you make will reflex who you are,
be content to stand still or reach for the stars.
I hope you choice wisely because it will matter in the end,
when all God's children will be judged on their sins.
