I just gave her what I had
I hope it was enough to get her where I'm trying to get to now
Home
Because isn't that where we all want to be?
Home
Wherever that may be for you
Could just be a hope, idea, or dream
But home is anywhere you want it to be
Safe from the world outside
Where you don't have to say goodbye
Unless you mean it
I just wish home meant the same to her as it does to me
Nothing more than the hope for peace

Interesting, home can mean different things to different people and some people can have more than one home. Good write.
PS: Is your YPDC name 'The Story Of The Year' kinda from the band 'Story Of The Year'? Just curious, whether yes or no, they are an awesome band. |
