I think he has the grass is always greener syndrome,
I’m a good thing- I know I’m a good thing
I’m green.
Greener then anything he’s ever had
He just can’t see it, he’s blind-
Color blind.
He wouldn’t know green if it hit him in his face
Smack!
In his face, but he can’t see the green
Staining his lips,
Dripping down his chest,
Showering his shoulders, his back
Tainting his ears.
But he didn’t see me

A good poem. I liked it. I understand how you feel, may people have failed to see how much I care for them. Good poem. |

Unique way of looking at it. Men are blind as bats most of the time. They will leave a lush pasture for a dried up patch of weeds and wonder why they are still hungry. You have to understand that men were just a rough draft and then God made women, lol. I like this poem.
