You Can't Get Rid of Me

Contributed by Cancer on Monday, 27th January 2003 @ 05:26:06 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

in your sea of apathy
i'm flailing
failing
in your ship of self-pity
your sailing
watching
the sudden waves of hatred
are pulling
swirling
you turn your back and start to laugh
but i'm not
dead yet

i hope you think
that i'll just sink
into this hateful sea
never suspect
my hands on your neck
i'm dragging you down with me

the clouds have gathered and they're spitting
thunder
lightning
you think that you're on your way home
forgeting
about me
but behind your boat of broken hope
i'm floating
waiting
you think it's over, time to move on
but you're coming
with me

i hope you think
that i'll just sink
into this hateful sea
never suspect
my hands on your neck
i'm taking you with me

you scream and plead, you beg of me
but, i'm not
listening
now overboard, so far from shore
you change your
story
but, it's too late, the boat has sunk
we're stranded
together
i pull you under, to our new home
together
FOREVER

you stupid *****
you actually thought
i'd let you abandon me
and now i gloat
over your slit throat
YOU WON'T LIVE WITHOUT ME
