Stuff the turkey
And eat some berries
In pie
Read the number seven
I love you
Like the bottom
Of the gum on the space ship
Spray paint my name
In hearts
Not circles
Never circles
Or squares
Always hearts
Just on the moon
Jupiter
Says Sailor Moon
She was a sailor
But not a moon
How is she a sailor?
In outer space?
She has no space ship.
Cries the aliens on Blue-black Lagoon
Arachnophobia
On my horse
Wait
Cries
I never received a horse on Christmas day
So I smiled in my dreams
Where I never really sleep

The only thing that took away from this poem was that the lines were so short and when that happens, the poem tends to be read kind of fast. I liked it, otherwise, though. |
