human delight

Contributed by lostrelic on Wednesday, 25th January 2006 @ 02:45:03 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

a star just deadlight a image of the past

its faded twinkle its lonely forgotten death

or a view into heaven like a pin hole in paper

a force beyond blind to our sinful eyes

feeling so small with thoughts like this

but small doesnt mean alone

a taste bland in my mouth

swallowed morals to many times

just a course of human delight

the sea called to me last night

her cold imbrace longing for my touch

its mysteries to solve and magic to behold

but dreams are only dreams and they fade

but curiosity never dies it only sleeps
