Why are all of you acting like everything is okay?
It’s not okay I swear,
I wanna scream out loud!!!
Yell out for someone to listen to me,
Why can everyone feel the same way?
Acting like he is going to be fine,
Why don’t you talk about it?
Keeping it a secret like it’s never to be spoken again,
Everyone smiling and continuing with their life,
Do you guys notice his cry?
He is crying to be helped out,
I don’t know how to offer him help,
I cannot even look directly at his eyes,
My conversation feels forced,
Pretending in his face I am calm,
Deep within I am screaming for help myself,
I don’t understand what is happening to him,
Why can’t he be the same as all of us?
What makes him that way?
I am scared for him,
Scared I cannot even concentrate on my own life,
Don’t know what’s going to be the outcome,
Believing and praying is the only thing left.

| A very good poem. I know exactly how you feel. I've been hiding things and keeping them inside as well, and it really hurts, hell it's ripping my heart to shreds. I can relate to this. Good poem. SLipSiX. |

This write is very powerfull. I can remember thinking these same things 'bout 8 years ago after my father died.Mine was medical and even tho i still take meds mine was one of 4 hyperparathyroid glands malfuntioning.
After the sujury I was tottaly different.
Still prayer is what see's me thru.
Very good write.
