LAND OF KNOTS

LAND OF KNOTS

Amidst worldwide troubles,
and frightening news
I find an escape in the
Land of Knots.
Come with me please, try to
imagine with ease,....

The Golden Gate Bridge knotted
in the middle.......
Crushed steel, mangled metal!

Smoker's who don't want to.....stop automatically
Cigarettes when lit-- knot up and then they agree!

Dieters in the Land Of Knots can't drink soft drinks.....
Sugarless elbows lock, and wrists remain in kinks!

Skyscrapers in New York City never remain Skyscrapers...
One knot reduces height--office workers dizzy creatures!

Pink Flamingo's neck's are shortened considerably
Pink knots to symbolze breast cancer--a thing without beauty!

All the zoos have giraffes with low blood pressure
Also Knotted Necks help them get up and down better.

I was so excited to see how knots can remedy any ailment
I wanted to write it all down, but their pencils
are not knot absent.......Huh?

Even the songs in the Land of Knots must be changed.......
"Somewhere Over the Knotted Rainbow" is a bit short ranged!

Tall arches everywhere stand taller, knots reduce falls....
Revenue getter, tourist attraction--their site enthralls.,

Ahhhhhhhh...but where can you find a tree with so much beauty?
A knotted palm maintaining it's balance even though bulky!

@&@&@&@&@&@&@&@&@&@&@&@&@&@

Now wasn't that enjoyable visiting The Land Of Knots
with all it's different Knots?
Reduces stress, unties your knots, and while visiting
ties you in knots!
Taking a tour of The Land of Knots always
reduces unpleasant thoughts!

A Knotty Creation

Remember always fly high.....
"Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly;
devils fall because of their gravity."

G. K. Chesterton:

*No Knot Smiles*

I do think we need to find you a new hobby to keep you busy when you get bored or we will all be knotted up, lol. This is absolutely hilarious and the imagery is just too too funny.
I do rather love that knotted rainbow though!

Love,
L Sis

Hello Connie Sue,
A dutch saying is:
'met jezelf in de knoop zitten'
which litterally translated in english is as much as:
'to be knotted (with oneself)'.
It means that people have an inner problem that they can only solve with the largest possible extent of trouble...
Knots definitely have a negative meaning in the Netherlands, but sómehow you have succeeded in showing the positive site of the knot:-))!
I really like all of your works. They're funny, outstanding and they make people reconsider, think, laugh and thingk again, and that's what poetry should do.
Thanks for sharing.
Big hugs,
Hur
