i want happiness, i need love, i crave ecstasy, and that is exactly why it eludes me still
to reach a constant state of eternal ecstasy is a tall task, a state i fear will never come
i'd like to stop searching now, for i am addicted not to drugs or alcohol but to the eternal search for the ultimate
...an ultimate enlightenment of fantastic invincibility that radiates and permeates completely through my body
...a cleansing of past present and future sins and a blessing of forever purness and inevitable happiness of the most extreme degree
...a realization that i don't need anything to make me happy because i am, was and will always be forever happy
...to look into her eyes and know that we are one and reemerge my soul with hers
and yet it never stops, up and down up and down, comparable to a drug addict my searching for the truth and hapiness
i'd like to stop now, if its at all possible
i'd like to stop now, but fate's clutch proves formidable
i'd like to stop now, will my savior please stand up
i'd like to stop now, before the die is cast
i'd like to stop now, for better or for worse
i'd like to stop now, i hate myself very very much
fate is cruel, i am dead, and yet i'd still like to stop

I like this very much ^_^
I don't fully believe in happiness...in fact, not at all. Hemingway once said, (in gruff like old man voice) "i've never met a happy intelligent person."
but then ole mr. hemingway shot himself at the ripe olde age of sixty-three (why one would wait that long is beyond me...why not just wait a little longer till time decides to kill you...) anyway, as i said, i like very much so...very much so indeed...

I am going through a situation right now where I might lose the love of my life. I'm trying my best not to let that happen. I love her alot. I might as well just admit it.
This poem made me think of my situation, well this was a good poem, I can relate to it alot. *Rose* |
