The spirit and the stone (the murderer)

Contributed by iodinelove on Tuesday, 24th January 2006 @ 08:57:15 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

Pressing her against bold and barren wall, they asked,
For what surpassing love does thine hour uphold, that thine eyes burn bronze by such suns that against thy tears endure;
What love, that to thine own pleasure thy heart is stone?

And she answered, slipping from their grasp, saying,
Tis not the answer to the question born that thine understanding seeks, but to the question that thy hearts refuse to speak.
Tis the love that one questions, saying, is this love; what love does one await?
There is no hour that my love will not uphold, that my eyes will not burn with the bronze endurance of the sun. And to pleasure? What truth is love if not the heart a stone to pleasure? What love is love if suffers not my heart to wait within thy coldest stones?

And the hour rose upon them, and the moon grew bright by shadows lulling call, and her spirit broke free, and she searched the moors and pass to seek the love that sought her throat to slash so long ago.

...I knew I didn't have time, but I couldn't resist reading this...I have thoroughly enjoyed what I'll refer to as your latest sequencing...your last few, many, have seemed cousins at least, perhaps siblings...soulmates anyway...I only read it once and have to go...at least writing this it will be in my response log...

...they have been very invigorating...invigorating...

...thank,

ron...enigma
