I thought about you today
As the sunrise kissed the dew
A robin's egg cracked life anew
And the crickets sang a tune
I thought about you today
As the earth sucked up the rain
A cucumber leaf broke through the soil
And a bubble bee passed by
I thought about you today
As the mountains tops raped the sky
A mocking bird spewed sounds of grace
And a weeping willow just sighed
I thought about you today
As the wind nestled with my flesh
A tulips scent flew across the land
And a windmill whistled high
I thought about you today
As my soul and heartbeat met
A precious gift to me was given
And your love I shall not hide...
