You Have Got to Be Kidding
...where?
Hey, you over there,
tell me,
in what place...
under...
have you hidden it under,
inside or behind?
...why?
Yeah, you're the guy,
tell me,
for what purpose...
sacred...
was your reason sacred,
was it frivolous or blandly indifferent?
...what?
Yo!
You on the go,
don't rush away,
tell me,
is it dimensional...
exist...
does it truly exist,
is it conceptual or empirical?
...know?
Squawking crow,
cut the shrugging,
and let me know...
No!
You don't know...
God help us...
...is it true,
you haven't a clue,
you simply preceded
those who precede
the ones who will precede
the ones who are yet to precede
the ones preceding
the ones who have already preceded their predecessors',
predecessors',
predecessors...
Oh, my god!
Where?
Why?
What?
You have got to be kidding...
No one will ever know,
because,
there was not,
there is not,
and there never will be,
any.
****.

Dear Ron,
I guess they weren't kidding! Better luck next time.

enigma,
Heck! I like it. Everyone is searching for what they know not of. Everyone is demanding difinitive answers, but there aren't any. That is the mystic of the heart, soul and spirit. That is why salvation always seems to be just beyond our grasp. And no, they were not kidding. They really do not know.
It was a humorous assault on a timeless and universal monster. I liked it.
