You will always be my number one enemy,
From wounding me by the memory,
Of what you did in the past.
It was the first time I was in a body cast,
Shattered bones and bloody scars,
From fists, weapons, to cars.
I’m sitting in my death bed,
With a new fracture to my head,
All over something I said.
First it was true,
Then you turn into someone new.
I’m pulling the plug,
Give my kids a hug.

This is a sad poem to read. Very descriptive, good rhythm and rhyme, but lacking some emotion. Too many women are in this type of situation, I hope it's not true for you.
Keep writing and stay strong,

Haunting write, brought tears to my eyes.
I hope this person your writing of isnt you.
There is hope and a way out for you.
Pulling the plug wont get you there believe me.
I do understand these emotions though.

Wow...such a sad write. I truly hope this isn't about you.
Nice work. Keep writing, I'll keep reading. |
