The night sky sparkles so clearly on this winter night
alone with you, I stand mesmorized
but not by the beauty above me,
but the beauty next to me
the beauty of you surrounds me and makes me whole
I could reach out and touch you
grab hold and never let go...
but the boundaries all around us
make you impossible to obtain
one day, I promise,
after you've been set free
I will come for you,
then it will only be you and me
until then, my love
I shall be in the shadows
waiting, yearning,
for a love so sweet...
