why do you weep my blue eyed friend?
your heart torn in so many places
memories seem only to offend
confusing love with loss
and shame the glue that holds you tight
binding you to vows and cold kisses
no one to comfort you tonight
dry your tears and see the stars
your dreams are there above the clouds
listen inside your heart...the truth
is love a thing of the past?
illusive lover that can't be caught
and won't be held accountable
forever by your side the one
who lies beneath your empty rib
